Bowler Dane Paterson was pleased by the efforts of both sides at Old Trafford, as Lancashire and Nottinghamshire approached day three with a positive mindset in the hunt for important bonus points after rain had washed out the opening two days.
Paterson credited Asitha Fernando, Steven Mullaney, Brett Hutton and Calvin Harrison for their contributions to Notts earning two bowling bonus points in the opening two sessions.
He also looked ahead to what could be an interesting final day in Manchester.
