James Hayes claimed three wickets as Nottinghamshire’s Second XI secured a healthy first-innings lead over Yorkshire on day two at Lady Bay.
Hayes finished with figures of 3/72, removing Will Bennison, Dom Bess and Owen Smith, as the visitors were dismissed for 245 – 132 behind Nottinghamshire’s first innings total of 377/9 declared.
There were two wickets apiece for Liam Patterson-White and Fateh Singh, while White Rose captain Will Luxton and Jordan Thompson each reached a half-century.
Notts sprinted to 109/1 in the last 19 overs of the day, with Ben Martindale unbeaten on 67 from 46 balls.
