Tom Loten and Thomas Giles took a wicket apiece as only 19 overs were possible on day one of Nottinghamshire Second XI's trip to Warwickshire.
Loten breached the defences of Isaac Mohammed for 24, while Academy prospect GIles saw fellow opener Amir Khan chop on to his stumps for 19.
On a day heavily interrupted by the rain, stumps were called shortly before 3pm.
